Eric Toney in Attorney General’s Race

Fond du Lac County District Attorney Eric Toney joined the AG’s race this morning. As you may recall, he held current Dem AG Josh Kaul to the barest of margins three years ago, and Eric’s back stronger than ever. It's a race that is being watched around the country and Eric has already been crisscrossing the state.

John Leiber Runs for ReElection in State Treasurer’s Race

Incumbent Republican State Treasurer John Leiber announced for reelection last week. He’s been terrific as state treasurer and is already running an active campaign clear to the end as he did when he took the office away from the Democrats in 2022.

Wisconsin Gubernatorial Race Update

In the Governor’s race, Democrats have a flat-out mess on their hands: After months of failing to coax the top Dem in the state, AG Kaul, over into governor’s race, the Democrats are left with a dog’s breakfast of liberals. I've been publicly calling it a “Left-wing Talent Show” as they each attempt to outdo themselves on the political stage appealing to their nutty Madison-based political audience.

By contrast, we’ve got two great candidates, Congressman Tom Tiffany and Washington County Executive Josh Schoemann who are already running hard and focusing on the Democrats, not trashing each other as Republicans. Let’s face it, I’m sure the campaign will get more spirited, but nothing will beat the race to the bottom that is the Democrats’ worst nightmare coming true at the moment.

We’re “On The Clock” with only 40 Days Left

We are now only 40 days out from the November 30th state deadline to submit lists of Republican poll workers to municipal clerks. How critical is this?

I served on President Trump’s Recount Team, as well as Supreme Court Justice David Prosser’s, and believe me, it’s impossible to underscore the importance. I talked with the President several times at events last year about how critical election integrity is. One of the keys: sign up poll workers and watchers. I always say, “I want our people in the room when votes are being cast—and being counted.” Because we—county parties, the RPW, and our allies—did what it took in 2024, remember this: Wisconsin was the state that put President Trump over the required 270 electoral votes election night.

We can win again. It will take us all working together and signing up poll workers in the next 40 days will help ensure secure elections. Please–do what you can, as soon as you can, to help us set another new state record in recruitment. Call RP’s Jenna Banfield at 608-228-8968 with any questions. DPI’s Teacher Sexual Misconduct Cover-ups Update

Representative Amanda Nedweski will be joining WisGOP’s statewide messaging call on Tuesday, October 28th at 5pm to discuss the DPI’s teacher sexual misconduct cover-ups and

discuss what the legislature is doing to fix the loopholes. The DPI story is as bad as you may have heard. Actually, it's worse. It’ll be an eye-opener for parents and the general citizenry who all want their kids protected. Register here for the messaging call.

We’ll be workshopping it in Cranberry Country over in Tomah this weekend, learning and working together. Thanks to the County Chairs group for pulling it together. There’s a lot to do; build files to strengthen Data Trust’s already huge Wisconsin list, plan voter registration, ID and turnout, raise money, and build county parties.

2026 is A Year of Conservative Opportunity. Let's do it.
