Written Words Work
Not much for public speaking, but still want a microphone of sorts? Put your pen (or laptop) to work!
One way to spark discussion in the community is to write a Letter to the Editor. The Kenosha News calls these submissions “Voice of the People” letters, or “VOPs.” VOPs are typically short and sweet (or salty!), and are written to inform readers, create interest, or advocate for particular positions or election candidates. The RPKC promotes relevant letters on social media to reach a larger audience. This is just one more way to publicly Speak Up about important truths people need to hear!
Submit your VOPs using this link, and let us know!
