Wisconsin families need a governor who understands that affordability begins with disciplined spending, lower taxes, & accountability for every public dollar. Tom Tiffany has made lowering costs a central priority—& he has committed to protecting the taxpayer reforms that help keep local budgets under control.
Make Wisconsin Affordable Again
Tom Tiffany’s affordability agenda focuses on the costs families feel every month: property taxes, income taxes, energy, housing and the price of doing business. As governor, he has pledged to:
Freeze property taxes
Stop automatic growth in the tax burden and give homeowners room to breathe.
Reject costly mandates
Keep government decisions from driving up energy, housing and everyday expenses.
Demand value for taxpayers
Control spending, protect reforms and make government live within its means.
Protect Act 10
Act 10 gave state and local governments tools to manage labor costs while requiring most public employees to contribute toward pensions and health insurance.
Protect taxpayers. Repeal could force higher taxes, service cuts or more local referenda.
Preserve local flexibility. School districts and municipalities can manage budgets without surrendering decisions to costly contracts.
Defend proven savings. WILL estimates repealing Act 10 could add $1.788 billion in annual school district costs.
End the 400 Year Veto
In 2023, Gov. Tony Evers used a partial veto to turn a two year, $325 per pupil revenue limit increase into annual increases through 2425.
The increase compounds. By 2026–27, the stacked authority reaches $1,300 per student above the pre adjustment base.
Property taxpayers carry the risk. WILL reports that most districts historically use nearly all available revenue authority.
Tom Tiffany supports repealing the veto and preventing future governors from using a veto pen to increase taxes.

In-Person Absentee Voting (early voting) begins on October 20th and runs through October 30th, depending upon your municipality. See the Kenosha County Clerk’s Election and Voting Information page for additional information. Outside the City, check your municipality’s web site for information on when and where you can early vote.

If you’re not sure whether you’re registered to vote, check the MyVote Wisconsin website. You can also use this link to update your registration—in particular, if you’ve moved or changed your name.
If you need to register to vote, bring with you a picture ID, and documentation of where you live. Your Wisconsin driver’s license or state-issued ID card is enough, if it shows your current name and address. If your license/ID does not show your current name or address, bring a document that does show your current name and address – for example, a tax bill, a utility bill, or a paycheck or pay stub.
