Highlights from Day 1 of the Republican National Convention 2024 in Milwaukee
Are you all watching the convention? Did you know that the Republican Party of Kenosha County is well represented there by many volunteers, elected representatives, and our very own Chairman, Sandy Wiedmeyer, who is a delegate?
“I am proud to represent Kenosha County, Congressional District 1, and the great state of Wisconsin as a Delegate to the Republican National Convention. I am honored to cast my Wisconsin Delegate vote for Donald J. Trump and JD Vance. Attending the RNC as the host state is a once in a lifetime experience. Wisconsin has made us all proud as a fabulous host to some of the most influential Republicans across our Nation!”
— RPKC Chairman, Sandy Wiedmeyer
Perhaps the biggest highlight of Day 1 happened when Kenosha’s own, Pastor James Roemke, brought the house down with his impression of President Trump prior to giving an exceptionally moving—and timely—benediction near the close of the day’s activities.
RPKC Chairman Sandy Wiedmeyer caught up with our Wisconsin State Assembly District 61 Representative, Amanda Nedweski. Thank you both for all of your tireless work to make Kenosha County Great Again.
We couldn’t do anything without each and every one of our members, many of whom volunteered to work at the RNC 2024 in Milwaukee, so special thanks to all of you. Have a great time this week!
